RWE auctions of electricity
Join the auction in 2010.
RWE offers a new electricity product to its industrial customers. During the RWE electricity auction, you will have the opportunity to bid from 2008 to 2011 for electricity production capacity of depreciated RWE lignite and hardcoal power generation units.
The market value of CO2 certificates which will be allocated free of charge to the designated power generation capacities is not considered in the minimum price so that, at the beginning of the auction, only the cost of those certificates which have to be bought in addition from the market will be included in the minimum price. In total, a firm volume of up to 1,575 MW per year generated by lignite and hardcoal power plants will be auctioned off and supplied in the period from 2009 to 2012.
We enforce the following auction for supply in 2011. We kindly ask you to send in the needed documents in time before end of the qualificaition period.
